Human Verification
Every profile is personally reviewed by our team before it goes live. No automated bots, no scraped photos, no fake accounts — ever.
Privacy by Default
No phone numbers required. No GPS location tracking. No real names displayed. Your data is yours — we don't sell it, rent it, or mine it.
Ephemeral Messaging
All direct messages automatically delete after 24 hours. No permanent chat history to leak, subpoena, or regret.
Encrypted Option
CryptoNotes — our standalone app — adds end-to-end encryption. Even we can't read your chats.
🛡️ Profile Verification — How We Keep Bots Out
The single most effective safety measure on any dating platform is keeping fake accounts out entirely. We do this with a two-layer verification system:
Layer 1: Automated Checks
- Email verification code required before profile submission
- Photo format and size validation (no default avatar placeholders)
- Basic spam/bot pattern detection in bio text
- Duplicate email and IP checks
Layer 2: Human Review
- Every photo inspected — stock images, celebrities, and default avatars rejected
- Bio read for authenticity — gibberish, spam links, and "investment opportunity" pitches rejected
- Consistency check between stated age, photo, and bio
- Typical turnaround: under 24 hours
💬 Messaging Safety — Designed for Privacy
24-Hour Auto-Delete
Every message in the platform's built-in chat disappears automatically after 24 hours. No screenshots can be prevented, but there's no permanent server-side log to breach.
No Phone Numbers
We never ask for, store, or display phone numbers. Communication stays on-platform until you choose to move it elsewhere.
Contact Control
Free members only receive contact requests — they choose who to talk to. Premium members initiate. Nobody gets spammed.
CryptoNotes E2E Encryption
For maximum privacy, use our standalone CryptoNotes app. Messages are encrypted on your device, decrypted only on the recipient's device. Zero server access.
🚨 Reporting & Blocking — You're in Control
If someone makes you uncomfortable, violates our Community Guidelines, or seems suspicious, you have immediate tools:
Block Instantly
One click from any profile or chat. They can no longer see you, contact you, or match with you.
Report to Our Team
Flag any profile or message. Reports go to a human reviewer (not an AI) — action taken within hours.
Safety Concerns
If you feel unsafe, contact us directly via the contact form (available after login) or email safety@loveyellowpages.com.
Law Enforcement
We cooperate with valid legal requests. Because messages auto-delete and CryptoNotes is E2E encrypted, there's often nothing to hand over — by design.
⚠️ Red Flags — Protect Yourself
Even with verification, stay alert. These behaviors are never okay on Love Yellow Pages and should be reported immediately:
💰 Asking for Money
"I need help with a ticket," "family emergency," "investment opportunity" — all scams.
🔗 Moving Off-Platform Fast
"Let's talk on WhatsApp/Telegram/email right now" — often to evade our safety tools.
📍 Vague or Inconsistent Details
Stories that don't add up, refusing video chat after weeks, location mismatches.
🎁 Gift Cards / Crypto Requests
"Buy me a Steam card," "send Bitcoin" — 100% fraud, every time.
😢 Emotional Manipulation
Love bombing, fake crises, guilt trips to extract money or personal info.
🔞 Inappropriate Content
Unsolicited explicit images, sexual pressure, or content violating guidelines.
🔐 Your Data — What We Store, What We Don't
✅ We Store (Minimal)
- Email (verified, for login & notifications)
- Profile data you provide (name, bio, photos, preferences)
- IP address at registration (fraud prevention, 30-day retention)
- Subscription status (Stripe token, not card numbers)
❌ We Never Store
- Phone numbers
- Exact GPS location
- Government ID / real legal name
- Message content beyond 24 hours
- CryptoNotes chat content (E2E encrypted)
